My name is Xavier Flores, a Texas A&M '20 and a Calallen High School '15 Alumni. My interest in taxidermy started in the Winter of 2018 when I had the opportunity to work for a Taxidermist in Southwest Texas. Being an avid hunter and fisherman, taxidermy always peaked my interest, so the opportunity was one I could not pass up. 

 

Prior to this I was a hobbyist taxidermist doing basic European Mounts for friends and family. Fast forward two years, I graduated in the midst of the pandemic in December of 2020.  As I awaited a job opportunity I decided to jump in and learn the next step of doing something I truly enjoyed, Taxidermy.

 

I apprenticed under Carmen Cantu-Chapman at RC Taxidermy in Del Rio, Texas in order to perfect my techniques and provide my customers with exceptional customer service and impressionable mounts.
